Hi everybody
School is out and I just finished Christmas shopping yesterday (guess who's reeeeealy organized).
Chritmas is always weird in my house as we don't always have it on Christmas day, my dads a firefighter and works two hours away and this year he has to work on Christmas day! Why must all these people set fire to their turkeys? So anyhow we're having it on boxing day.
Contrary to me my nan's been getting ready since about October (she made 3 chistmas cakes that weigh about a ton each, there's sooo much stuff in them!)
However today, luckily for me I'm avoiding arguments today (my mum and my little sister has a liiiiittle bit of a "misunderstanding" yesterday and both are a tiny but touchy), instead I'm having a Christmas movie marathon chez my friends house. Where we shall be swapping presents, which is, in my opinion, a lot more fun. One of my friends is in a theatre production and can't come, the other is half polish and it's Christmas eve,
she told me that in Poland they give one present on Christmas eve and it's a family day.
This then got me thinking about different countries versions of Christmas, I know when I was living in France I was invited round a friends house for Christmas eve and I went round, they opened all their presents on Christmas eve but in the evening, so they had to wait the whole day to open them! They told me that in France (at least where I lived) Christmas day itself is meant to be spent with family (unless your dad is working -.- sorry I'm a litlle bit unhappy with that.)
But I also suppose it's different here too, I know peoe who have to be up at 6, showered dressed with teeth and hair brushed, ready to go to church, then have a rost dinner and presents come late afternoon. Mine's somewhat different: leap out of bed as I'm always up first and "discreetly" wake everyone up, "oh look, I dropped loads of pans on the floor" or I'll play with the dog so he barks. I'll then rip everything open then have brunch then over to my nan's for more presents and snacks, them my mums friend comes to visit (except this year we are going to hers) and we eat MORE FOOD top it all off with some christmas cake (the heavy one!), ice cream and finally a bit of Just Dance and Singstar = voila a Christmas chez moi.
How do you guys all spent Christmas?
I would add a son but I'm on my iPod and Blogger won't let me :,(, I can't find the picture I was trying to upload either! (However the irony is that I've written way more than I normally do at a computer ^^)
I'm off in two hours aaaand I'm still in bed, too lazy, oh it's 10 in the morning, I thought it was about 8...
I hope you guys all have the best Christmas!
Lots of love
Lottie ^^

It's DECEMBER!!!
And thus, the countdown to Christmas begins. I haven't even started buying presents yet. -.-
In two days, I'm performing "Jar of Hearts" with my friends at my schools Christmas concert... That's gonna go down well, I sing like someone's strangling a cat...
I was surfing YouTube today and I found loads of comments about Hetalia, I never really got what it was about so I decided to take a look...
It's about the most hilarious thing I've ever seen, ever! I've spent the past 2 hours watching episodes and I have just one question: WHY ARE THEY SO SHORT?! :'(
YAY!! ^^

Well, I'm moving to London XP
On Wednesday my English class took a trip to the British Library. It was designed to look like a boat, LOOK AT IT, HOW EPIC!!!
It's got about 14 million books, looooads of first editions as well. I saw the Handwritten "Alice in Wonderland" Except then it was called "Alice's adventures underground." There was also Sir. Arthur Conan Doyles "Lost" (Though now found) first novel, Beethoven's tuning for and handwritten music scores and there was also the Beatles handwritten lyrics! Oh, and also King George III's Book collection. (GAH TOO MANY BOOKS, ME VEEERY HAPPY ^^)
Me and my best friend Catty, snuck off to look at the Magna Carter (Nearly wrote MANGA Carter for a sec XD). O.o It was AMAZING, so now I have decided to move to London.
<== LOOK IT'S ALICE!!!
On Monday, I introduced my friends to the "Caramelldansen" and thus we had an idea, between us we can speak 4 languages, and so, we're going to caramelldansen around the world. We did a lot in London, on the underground people gave us some funny looks, we also did it in the middle of London Victoria station and The Apollo theater ( where "Wicked" is showing). Next on our list of places we're going soon is:
-New Zealand
-France (ME!!)
-Greece
-Italy
-Possibly Aussieland
(If anyone wants to get involved as well, feel free to let me know, It's gonna take about a year to get all of the videos together from various countries!)
All in all, I'd say it was a pretty good day, WHO AM I KIDDING I LOOOVED IT!!!
Hope you all have a good weekend!!

A book review (LACK OF CREATIVE TITLE)
Ever get the feeling when somethings wrong? It's freaky but I've been feeling like this all week, like when you go out and realise you've forgotten something reeeeally important, but you just can't remember what... Hm... Maybe I'll eventually remember what it is.
Anyhooo... I've been catching up on my reading lately, latest book to read: A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness. I absolutely loved reading this book, the storyline was really intricately written which keeps you guessing. It was filled with witches, demons and (French yay!) vampires (ones that don't sparkle in the sun, for a nice change ^^). I'm very eagerly awaiting the second installment in the series Shadow of Darkness. Also the Warner Brother's company has brought the rights to make a film!
The heroine of the book, a witch who denys her powers named Diana Bishop, discovers a transcript named Ashmole 782 and almost immediately sends it back after discovering three pages were missing and words were swirling all over the place. She discovers that she is the only one who can reclaim it. A swarm of other creatures, all of whom want the manuscript, including a vampire Matthew Clairmont. Together with said vampire she journeys to try and discover the secrets of the manuscript, taking her to La Belle France. I'm gonna shut up now before I give too much away. >.<
And, on a completely unrelated note, I must go to MCM next year...

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!
Hiya everybody, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!! ^^
Now as much as I LOVE this holiday, unfortunately for me I live in the UK, so for me today has been filled with scared elderly people who refuse to open their doors to anyone in costume, in fact I'm the only house on my street who is actually giving out sweets today, how sad is that? I love the whole idea of halloween in America, sound soooo much more fun! Also for me it's also my Grandma's birthday, so I don't really get dressed up. What's worse is that my friend wouldn't dress up as Len when we went to the theme park.
I did enjoy halloween in France, people trick or treat during the day at the shops, no joke, the shops actually DO hand out sweets to them all!!
Hope you've all had a great day today, both my parents were working all day and my sister was out, so I was home alone in my witches hat all day with my dog, 'cause I'm cool like that! ^^
A bientot!
Of course as it's Halloween, I'm in the mood for freaky music^^ I watched this at midnight the first time, I then had to watch "Popipo" about 3 times afterwards, I was just too freaked out!

A Manga guide to Physics? *BUY BUY BUY*
Hello there ^^
I got stung by a wasp, now my finger is about three times the size it normally is :/
Anyhoo, I was in English today and my teacher walked past as my friend was drawing a cupcake and then said "kawaii."
I just couldn't stop laughing because, well, my teacher has a verrrrrry posh English accent and it was soooo funny hearing her say that.
I also discovered today that my physics teacher is an Otaku when he tried to get our Physics class to buy "the manga guide to physics," our class were like "Oh, sir, how funny!"
...On the inside I'm screaming "GET IT GET IT GET IT!!!"
Ehem... I'm on amazon right now XP
