Oh dear. Oh dear oh dear oh dear.

Well... I completely forgot I had this blog.

I've been on tumblr and that's pretty much where 98% of my time is spent, so I'm really sorry that I completely forgot all about this.

On the plus side, it's the Easter holidays so I've got another week off! I've got so much work to do for my A-level exams in May/June and I'm so scared I'm gonna fail them all. I need an A and two B's to get into my top choice university! I hope I can get them! >_< Speaking of universities, I completely forgot to apply for accommodation the day it became available and when I went on two days later the type of accommodation I wanted were all gone! Which means I now have to get the more expensive ones... WHY?! It's ridiculous that I'm gonna come out of university with a debt which will take the rest of my life to pay off. BLEH!

ONLY TWO MONTHS LEFT OF SCHOOL!!! I'll be freeeeee! Of course, I'm just excited for a trip to DisneyLand...  I do feel really sad that I'll be leaving a load of my friends behind but I'm getting to the point where I've had enough of school. The teachers put so much pressure on everyone and they're all convinced that their subject if the most important one! At least next year I will only be studying the things I want to!!!

Oh bugger. When did it get to midnight?!

Can I just point out this amazing song from CircusP called Lie? It's so pretty and sad and you can actually understand the English! I'm sorry but I find Luka really hard to understand, even though she's supposed to speak English.

I'm really getting lazy!

First of all, before I even start: SIO/SONNY WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?! Where has your blog gone?! Tell me you've switched to Tumblr or something?!

I didn't get to read your last two posts, they just sit on my dashboard going "hehehehe, you can't read us, but we're here..."

So moving on. HETALIA COMES OUT IN TWO DAYS! EVERYONE FREAK OUT NOW!!!

I'm going to pull an all nighter when I get in tomorrow and just watch series 1-4 and the film (I've got a late morning on Friday anyway, so who cares?!)

I haven't got that much news to show the world at the moment, in the middle of the January exams. I had my English exam on Tuesday, which I'm hoping went ok. If I don't get an A in it I'll cry. I've already got 7 exams in the summer and I could do without another one... I got out of my exam and had a double lesson of English afterwards, where my teacher told me my coursework for this year was going to be a detailed investigation on one aspect of the English language that fascinates me. Oh and it needs to have a hypothesis and graphs and data analysis. This is NOT English! I'm pretty sure that should be in maths or something. How would you even bring pie charts into English?

A little collection of the things I've been doing in the past week:
-AKB0048 series 2 has started.
-Amnesia is amazing! Seriously go and watch it. It's based on an Otome game and may be best thing I've seen in a long while!
-I've been playing Ib. It's one of the cutest games I've ever played that makes me want to jump out of my skin!!! I highly recommend playing it!!! The soundtrack of it is just... And Garry is just so... Ok just play it, or listen to the soundtrack or something.

I think I've run out of interesting points to make and I haven't discovered many new vocaloid songs this week that I like enough to mention, here's an awesome chorus cover of 1, 2 fanclub. The PV is just amazing!!!

Back to school

I swear I have the least creative titles for my posts...

So school's back and I walked into school and then realised how little work I'd actually done... Everyone was pulling out all of their revision cards and stuff they had made and I was all "I read my revision guide a couple of times."

On the plus side, on Sunday I had to slice together a load of songs for my Mum's Year 6 dance club for the competition they're in. It took me about half an hour just to turn the computer on (the one I normally use to post stuff on this blog, normally by the time it's on I've lost my train of thought and end up watching crap on YouTube...) I was moaning about how slow it was, my little sister got it for her birthday and it's just full of pictures of herself plus the sims 3, so it doesn't like to be speedy. My Mum went downstairs and came back up and said: "I've spoken to your Dad and we were wondering if you'd like your Birthday present early this year?" I freaked out and (of course) yelled YES and the next day my Dad took me to PC world and I now have a shiny new laptop. It was  £550 but was put down to £400, which is awesome! It's become my baby! XD

Which kinda leads me onto my next point. Has anyone seen Salad fingers? I stumbled across the videos yesterday and I think I'm screwed up for life, I sat there at 11pm last night with my face like this. O_O I still watched all the videos but I swear I had to watch so many funny videos afterwards to calm myself down! Just, here's the link to the first one, watch at your own peril:

I believe I'm done for now! Since I've got my laptop I'll be able to reply to stuff a lot faster because it isn't so painful to wait for it I just hit the on button and BAM!

So my three songs this week are:

Number 3: Clean Freak by Scop and sung by GUMI

To be honest I'm having a real hard time this week choosing, there's been such a good range of different songs uploaded in the past week or so! This song is just... and the PV...

Number 2: Electric Magic but 8#Prince and sung by the Kagamine Twins

It's just so cute, it really reminds me of PONPONPON or something to that effect. Cuteness all round!

Number 1: Hello Laughter buy Last Note and sung by Hatsune Miku, Megurine Luka, Kagamine Rin, GUMI , IA and Lily.

Whenever I see a group of more than 3 vocaloids singing I freak out! I adore chorus songs and their voices all sound really realistic!

SEE YA LATER!

Quiet time.

At last, the busiest time of the year is over. First of all a belated MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE! Hope you all got what you wanted for Christmas!

My Uncle came to visit from the other side of the world for the first time in about four years, he left early this morning. I've had a pretty good Christmas, I got a decent set of headphones (which hopefully will last longer than a month or so), a pair of converse which are fluffy on the inside and an actual winter coat (cause I've been freezing to death for the last 2 months).

Arriety is on TV and no-one else wanted to watch it so I'm in the loft by myself. (Ok, firstly, to clear this up I've referred to "the loft" many times but it's not actually used for storage, it's really a kind of hobby room, just in case anyone thought I sit alone in the attic on a daily basis...) I'm typing while watching it, it's so cute!

As always during the school holidays I've been putting off all of my work, with 4 days left to go I've still done nothing. My friends are coming over tomorrow for a revision party so it's all good. :3

Oh, I meant to attach this to the last post but I forgot:

I got an offer from my top choice university as well to study French and beginners Italian with European Studies. (Longest course name. EVER) My gosh, 2013 is gonna be big year. I'm both excited and dreading university next year. I'm gonna love independence and actually doing a course I enjoy. On the other hand, I'm not overly good with cooking, I can survive a day or two cooking by myself but after that, what am I going to cook?

On that cheery note, I'll give my top three songs of the past month or so I've been away!

Number 3: Len-kyun Now! By Owata-P and sung by Miku, Luka, Rin and Len.
This appeared in my subscriptions this morning and I freaked out! No this is not 96Neko's version, this is REAL, Owata-P has actually done this!

Number 2: Life Prolonging Treatment by neru and sung by IA.
It's made by neru and sung by IA, do I need to give a better reason? :3

Number 1: Requiem of the Endless World by Hitoshizuku P & Yama△ and sung by the Kagamine twins
If anyone else has been waiting for the ending synchronicity series for too long, this is gonna be the best Christmas present ever! I literally squealed with fangirl happiness and Hitoshizuku P & Yama△ don't dissapoint. It's one of the most beautiful things I've ever heard. Just, listen to it!

Have a nice day! :3

Christmas shopping: done.

So I finished my Christmas shopping! Wooo! (and have no money left!) However while I was doing le shopping I may have bought something for myself: Epic Mickey 2 for wii! I knew the original plan was that my parents were gonna get it for me for Christmas but they're toying with the idea of getting me a car, so I went out and got the game myself, while buying presents for everyone else, of course.

First of, it's REALLY good, I love how it has a co-op mode now because it means my sister can drop in and out whenever she wants (she's not so much as a hard core gamer as me...) The camera problems from the first game (in that it moves as it sees fit) is all gone!

There's also just SO MUCH MORE TO DO! I'm constantly being bombarded with quests, challenges, badge hunting, film reel hunting, costume hunting, looking for people, looking for metals, looking for cloth, looking for pigs, fixing train stations... and that's not even the HALF of the stuff to do ON TOP of the main quests. Really, this is gonna take a while!

They all speak too, apart from the Mad Doctor who sings (because after all what is a Disney product without  at least seven musical numbers)! After doing the first main section of the story there's a whole ten minute long happy ending video like the end of the first one, followed by the credits. Now I must say I didn't realise that I was nowhere near finishing it but I started freaking out: I've only played it 4 times! How can it already be finished?! Luckily for me, it's not, because a second load of bosses have emerged from the pits of wasteland, it's a classic Disney villain!

I don't want to give too much away so I'll stop now so I don't ruin it! >3<

In other news MAYU HAS FINALLY BEEN RELEASED! I have been waiting a looooong time for this to finally happen! A load of vocaloid producers have gathered together and made a CD consisting of 30 different songs, so here's my top 3 off of the album!

Number 3: Blood stained switch By mothy, sung by MAYU.

I love mothy, all his songs link together, it's like a mahoosive spiderweb of songs.

Number 2:  Escape from Dystopia by CosMo and sung by MAYU!

CosMo is another AWESOME producer! I can't believe how hard this is to decide between all the awesome songs!

Number 1: A lie and a stuffed animal by Dixie flatline and sung by (do I really need to say it again?) MAYU

It's just too adorable!  ...and then I read the lyrics...

Byesie bye!

Oh and TEN DAYS UNTIL CODE LYOKO EVOLUTION!

Tuesday, 4 December 2012

Life can be fun!

Not an overly long post this week, I'm afraid! Not much has happened and I've just had homework to do! BLEH! It's (mostly) all done now, so I'm giving myself a well earned break.

I was in French yesterday and my teacher decided to have a debate. There were only three people in our lesson so it was the two other girls vs me. My teacher didn't want me to hear them as, well, I'd have apparently argued too well against them, so my teacher turned to me and said: do you have an iPod so you can listen to music, that way you won't hear them? My mind immediately went: vocaloid in French lesson? YES!

And so that has been the highlight of my past week! I'm going Christmas shopping on my own tomorrow so that might be fun!

Oh by the way, when I found out that the new Code lyoko series was in live action, I kinda reacted this way too! XD Now, I've seen the actors I'm FINE WITH IT!

I haven't been on YouTube these past few days because my Interne'ts been really slow! I got a letter today saying "we've upped your Internet speed, now you'll be able to download a film in the time it takes to make the popcorn!" I actually laughed as it's been slower now than it ever has been before! So this is the only new vocaloid song I discovered the past week, which I actually really like, so here it is:
An Earnest Unrequited Love, Wanting to Make it Bear a Little Happiness by t.Komine/Utata-P and sung by MAYU!

I really love her voice so much!

Too early to think up a title

Hiya everyone!

It's been about three weeks since my last post! Sorry! I didn't realise just how quickly life was going!

I've been super stressed out these past three weeks as there were quite a few bumps in the road trying to send of my application for university, but IT'S ALL GONE NOW!!! *happy dance* I've finally (two and a half weeks later than I wanted to be, thanks to my school...) applied to my five universities. Now I'm spending all my life checking my emails to find out if I've got any offers... I'm really worried they might see hwo bad I did in physics and be all "this girl is so stupid! Let's not take her!"

On saying that, it was probably poor judgment on my part to apply for a degree at a university that specialises in science... (Just to make it clear I'm applying for French!
^-^) So, let's just see how that goes!

So other than the panicking and endless amounts of French homework I should be doing right now, I've been working and it's one week left until I get paid! I'll be getting about £90 and when I worked out how much I was gonna spend on people for Christmas... I pretty much have nothing left. On the plus side, I have double shifts around Christmas and won't be paid until the first of January so all that money can go on me... I'm saving up for the next MCM in May. This time, I'm going in proper cosplays for both days WITH early entrance... Since I'll be paying for it all myself! Mwahahahaha!

Oooh, also we've got Lovefilm! It's brillliant! We get unlimited streaming of films as well as being able to rent games! And the anime section of the website literally makes me drool. I've rented out Final Fantasy XIII and I played it for the first time yesterday! I kept wanting to buy it but whenever I previously got money one of my friends so carelessly felt the need to have a birthday so all my money got spent on presents! NOT ANYMORE!!! *cough* Got to stop thinking about money, it's not a good habit...

Also, after Christmas I'm learning how to drive! My parents keep arguing whether to buy me a car or get me driving lessons. I sit there crossing my fingers for a car but they're expensive and I'd have to run it myself. Oh dear, I know where my wages are going! To be honest, I wouldn't care if I did have to spend my wages I'D HAVE A CAR! >_< All the places I could go!

Well, I need to wrap this up before the laptop runs out of battery so my top three vocaloid songs this week are:

Number three: This is the happiness and peace of mind society.
Creepy, just creepy.

Number 2: The Transient Apple salesgirl.
Cute Gumi song is cute.

Number 1: 1,2 fanclub

Sunday, 4 November 2012

Hiya everyone!

Firstly, Blogger has very kindly deleted EVERYONE'S blogs off of my reading list, which was nice of them! Now I have to find the blogs I was following again... -_-

Secondly, now that's out of the way! I got my job! Yay! I had three shifts already this week and when I got home I was too lazy to get on a computer, so I'm sorry this post is a good week late! I work in a tiny little shop in my local town and it sells looooads of little itsy bitsy things like wooden hearts, photo frames and other cute things! The place smells soooo good as it sells incense and oil burners. The Christmas ones are on sale now so the whole store smells like cinnamon, I was wiping my mouth every 3 minutes! XD

Moving onto the main theme of this post: MY TRIP TO MCM LONDON COMECON!!!

I got up super duper early (6AM, so not that super early) and put my entire cosplay on. I got a few funny looks at the train station. Just to let everyone know I was the only one in the train station for a while, in my bright green Gumi wig. I looked all awkward and hilarious as everyone who passed me gave me a look like "what the hell is she doing?!" Luckily it wasn't too long before we were all on the train.

When we got there it still had two hours before it opened... So we sat at practically the front of the queue, there were about thirty people in front of us. Considering we had two whole hours to wait the time went really quickly! I was happy to sit there and just watch everyone walk past in their cosplays, there were so many Slendermen, vocaloids and Pedo bears.

Haven't got any pictures as I have no camera at the moment... which was depressing. I only took £70 with me and now I want more stuff! All I bought was a ASDF T-Shirt which says "I am a Stegosaurus" on the front, an adorable bag with Chibi Miku, Len and Rin on the front, and a copy of Angel Beats which only cost £10 (which works perfectly, I was sure there was something wrong with it at that price but it's an official certificated copy!)

I was gonna queue up for all the celebrities but the queue's were massive and some of them were charging £15 for an autograph. I walked away after seeing one person... There was loads of other stuff to do so I walked around for ages! There was no way to finish it all in one day!

I got sooo many hugs from people and a couple of people yelled "GUMI!" when I walked past before tackle glomping me, I felt so famous! ^-^ I have to say though, I glomped my fair share of people too, especially the Lens, Soras and Roxases.

There were so many dances going on too, I missed the caramelldansen (p*ssed off! XD) I was buying stuff and didn't make it there on time... There was a guy there dressed as a big speaker and Gangnam style was playing on repeat... all day long, people started to follow this guy round, he got a good crowd of about one hundred people following him around, me amongst them.

I went to a vocaloid meetup and met so many AWESOME people who I'll definitely stay in contact with. At the moment I'm debating whether or not to go to hyper Japan at the end of the month but I don't think I could afford another trip to a con for a while...

All in all I'd say it was practically the best day of my life! I loved all the people there and all the stuff was awesome! Next time I think I'll go for an extra day and spend one day meeting people and the other day shopping! Now that I have my new job think of all the stuff I'll be able to buy at the next one in May *drools*. Once Christmas is done I'll start saving up for MCM MAY! I want more things!

Onto my top 3 vocaloid songs this week:

Number 3: SeeU's Gangnam style:
I discovered this about 3 hours ago AND IT'S HILARIOUS!!!

Number 2: World Calling by Jin and sung by IA
I have a ridiculous amount of love for IA, I LOVE her voice! She's just so adorable that I want to hug her all the time! She's so sweet!

Number 1: Ama no Jaku, originally by 164 and GUMI, sung by Mayu
Mayu is Exit Tunes's upcoming new vocaloid, announced in May earlier this year. I found the demo a while back but I completely forgot about it, a couple of days ago I started to wonder if she had been released yet, so I went back and listened to it this week and it's ended up being my FAVOURITE song at the moment, I can't wait until her official release in December (I think...) I love her artwork and her little nasally voice, even if she does wield an axe!

With that I bid you all farewell, have a nice week!

Just a quick post!

Hiya everyone. It's late and I should really be in bed early because I have a job interview tomorrow, so I'll have to be fast!

Firstly London Comecon was AWESOME and I'll do a full post either tomorrow or the next day, this isn't gonna have any vocaloid songs of the week... because it's late and I'm lazy but I promise I'll do it tomorrow!

Basically I just wanted to give you a linky link to my new mep group I'm starting!
If anybody wants to join feel free, just leave a comment on this post or on the actual video!

Lots of love

Lottie!

A couple of bits of good news!

Good afternoon!

I am very well aware that I missed a post last week, and was late with this one! (I'm sorry everybody). Unfortunately I spend all my time doing French work, so far in the six weeks we've been back I've had no less than 30 pieces of French homework, plus essays for my other two subjects! I spent 5 hours doing it yesterday and have been given another 4 hours worth due tomorrow. To top it off I left my USB stick, with my personal statement for university entry on it, at school!

I had a little mental breakdown then decided to give up and blog instead.

But enough with the bad news because I've got some good news next!

Good News Number One: The arrival of Paramount Pictures

Yup, I'm really excited for this! About 2-ish hours away from where I live, in a place called Kent, plans have been made for a Paramount Pictures theme park, said to be bigger than Disneyland Paris! Of course, I shall always be a Disney girl for life  but I'm glad the UK is finally getting and actual THEMED theme park. I mean, we've got Thorpe Park, Alton Towers and the like but no actual movie themed parks at ALL!
Opening in 2018 (ages away) and will include Europe's Biggest EVER water park!

Look at it! Six years to go! ^-^ I'll be all moved out and done with uni by then so... that's a long ol' while!

Good News Number Two: MCM IS IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!!!

This is really what I'm excited for! My very first proper anime/comics/games convention! I'm so very excited! I'm kinda bummed though as my parents aren't entirely fond of me being... well... a downright anime geek and so wouldn't let me fork out a fair amount of money on cosplay. (I was looking at full Gumi cosplay for about £150...) So I decided to keep it simple and do a Rolling Girl cosplay but as Gumi (because she's awesome!)
The line up is a thing of awesomeness. Matt Smith is there on the Friday only but I have school that day! So I'm going on the Saturday instead! However I felt immediately better upon finding out that some of my favourite people will be there: Ali Hillis, who plays Lightning in Final Fantasy; Liam O'Brien, who plays Gaara *fangirls*, Tomska (ASDF MOVIES FTW!), the cast and crew of Eddsworld (sadly minus Edd, He'll never be forgotten, that Internet legend!) and the guy who sculpted Darth Vader's mask (I forgot his name)
<(^-^;)

I suppose I should wrap this up and go back to panicking about life!

So this weeks top 3 vocaloid songs are:

Number 3: Rolling Girl by wowaka, sung by Miku!

Because of my upcoming cosplay, I've been listening to this song a lot lately and just casually having a boogie!  A classic vocaloid song! I just need to finish my skirt and get some eyeshadow without sparkles (because funnily enough bruises look a LOT less real when they are glittering!)

Number 2: Slow Paced Chaser by morlbon, sung by Megurine Luka
Possibly may have posted this before, I remember talking about it somewhere before now... Anyhow, I never really liked Luka at first, it took me ages to start liking her songs. However I really do like her voice! I love the little clock in this and the absolutely adorable artwork!

Number 1: A Tale of Six Trillion Years and One Night by kemu and Sung by IA
The second IA song I ever heard and, unlike Luka (sorry Luka I love you now) I loved her right off the bat. This song is my personal favourite and I can't believe I've never posted it before! It's one of those songs I can NEVER EVER get sick of! I just love it so much!

Bye bye everyone! I promise to post on time next week!
                              -Love Lottie!

Monday, 1 October 2012

Drumroll please!

I would have posted a couple of days ago, but Doctor Who finished and I was a lil' bit sad! D':  BUT OSWIN IS COMING BACK GYAAAA! (It was in the ending, so NOT a spoiler*

So, I MUST inform everyone of my tip-top-super-duper-brand-new NEWS! (Well, I found it out about a week ago...)

Ahem, just... watch the video!

KINGDOM HEARTS FREAKING 1.5, a HD remake of Kingdom Hearts, Chain of Memories, containing scenes from 358/2 days. I knew this was coming, but no-one believed me! Nobody! They all thought I was mad! Mad I tell you! Mad! HEHEHEHE!

So I'm now glad I bought my playstation 3, because I was beginning to get a little bored of LittleBigPlanet, Trinity Universe and Tomb Raider (the only games I ever play...) and I'm finally glad there's a new (-ish) game for the PS3, because the stupid things won't play PS2 games and I only bought it because I wanted to play KH2 after my PS2 died.

Due for release sometime in 2013 in Japan, but you know, US and European fans will riot if this is not announced within the next few months... I honestly hope Square Enix knows what's good for them! *Evil Grin*

Watch the video, Google it, Fangirl: this SHOULD be the next week of your life!

I'm a very happy fangirl!

***********************************************************************

So this weeks top 3 Vocaloid songs are:

Number 3:  Black board.

Number 2: Deep Sea City

Number 1: Akatsuki Arrival

Apologies for not writing who it's by, etc. but I really have to go!

Love Lottie <3

PS, I'm thinking of starting a Vocaloid MEP group but I'm not sure.

I'm so tired... so very tired.

Hi everybody! Today I was gonna do another review but two in a row may be a bit boring!

So instead I'm gonna do something I promised to do a little while back! Ok, so a couple of posts ago Sonny commented this:

So! Some questions:

Who's your favorite Pretty Cure character?

Who's your favorite Alice in the Country of Hearts guy? (Mine's Julius, all the way. LOVE HIM.)

Culd you make a list of your fave manga? That'll be my nextest post, I think...

Oh, and fave anime characters!!

Only cuz anime fanz rule and I like to know these things!! X3 Or not, you know, your choice... v///v

So for today I have decided to do this!

Ok, so Question 1: Who's your favorite Pretty Cure character?

I'm gonna have to say Nozomi/Cure Dream, I just love how fun she is and she loves food as much as I do! I really love her as a character and I have to say I've changed my mind, Splash star was my favourite series but when I went back and watched them all again I decided That Yes! Precure 5 is my favourite.

Question 2: Who's your favorite Alice in the Country of Hearts guy?

Peter, just because I find him adorable! I constantly find myself staring at the pages with him on it! Yelling at Alice whenever she says he's annoying! Of course, him in his bunny form is also Squee-worthy! I would follow him forever!  \(>///-///<)/

Question 3: Culd you make a list of your fave manga?
Aaaaand with that, every manga I've ever read has fallen out of my brain...

Ahem:
Alice in the Country of Hearts
Ouran High School Host Club
Sailor Moon
Hatsune Mix!
1/2 Prince (Technically not a manga)
Vampire Knight
Prétear (I actually managed to find the entire series at my library!)
Pokémon!
Naruto (Although it took me aaaaaaaages...)
Shounen Dolls
I've recently started reading yotsubato! It's good.

I could add more, but we'd be here all night! In fact normally about ten seconds after hitting "Publish" I'll be smacking myself for forgetting something...

Question 4: Oh, and fave anime characters!!
Ok, I'll do a top ten (but it's so haaaaaaaard!)
In no particular order:

Kanade from Angel Beats!
Yuri from Angel Beats
England from Hetalia
Konata from Lucky Star
Hina-Ichigo from Rozen Maiden
Tomoya from Clannad
Nana from Elfen Lied
Otonashi Yuzuru From Angel Beats. (As you may have guessed by now, it's my favourite anime!)
Naoi from Angel Beats
Rakka from Haibane Renmei

Ok, I hope that was enough for you, Sonny (my new twin!!! ^-^).

So I'll move on to this weeks top three vocaloid songs!

Number 3: Dear Mother, sung by Miku, I forget who it's by.
I found this absolutely adorable! I loved it! It made my go downstairs and hug my Mum right away!

Number 2:   Straying Rhapsody, by, well, that's the point of the song, we have to guess who it's by! Sung by Lily, Gakupo and GUMI!!!!

This weeks Number 1 song is: Sorry to You by FeiP. Sung by Gumi and featuring Luka in le background! I find it funny how Gumi always gets one-sided love songs! This guy deserves a kick! Gumi is easily my favourite Vocaloid. I only started listening to her a lot after I took three different personality quizzes and was told I'm most like Gumi. I hope you like this song!

I wish you all a pleasant week! (I'm trying to do weekly updates from now on!)

Ugh! School!

Hi all!
I've been back at school for one week now and I've already been dumped under an ever growing pile of work, so this will only be a short post then I'm back to writing a personal statement for le university!

Ok so firstly, I SAW BRAVE! AaAaAaAaAah! It was amazing, one sec, the kettle's done, I want a cup of tea. Anyhoo, I absolutely love love loved it, it's been one of the best things I've seen in ages! I absolutely loved the little brothers! They were sooo adorable!

Next up, a little, quick, tiny demand. To all of those who have not yet seen "Angel Beats." Go do so. Right now. Now, I tell you. I adored this, I think it's my new favourite anime!

It's about a group of teenagers (see left!   ^-^) who, after having thoroughly depressing lives and died waaay before their time, want to fight against God. It follows the story of a boy named Otonashi Yuzuru, who died and woke up in a world (a High School) next to a girl named Yuri (who looks and acts amazingly like Suzumiya Haruhi!) and discovers he doesn't remember anything about his past life.

Yuri is then found out to be the leader of the SSS, the Afterlife Battlefront, who are battling Tenshi, who they believe to be an angel. If a person in this limbo world has a normal school life, he or she disappears. Tenshi, as the Student council President, is responsible for making them live a normal school life. So the team decides to actively disobey as many school rules as they can!

I love the story, the animation style, the numerous musical numbers, the characters, everything! It's so heartbreakingly beautiful! Watch it! Pleeeeease!

I spent a bit longer than I meant to on this so here's my top 3 vocaloid songs of the week!

Number 3: Re-Education, by neru ft. Kagamine Rin and Len
Neru is so awesome, this is no exception, I love anything by neru!

Number 2: The Trash Heap Princess and Apostrophe, by sasakure.UK ft. Hatsune Miku.
This is one of the most adorable things I've ever seen. The  "ICQCQ" gives me the shudders, everytime. Oh, there's also another song in the series, Rin sings it: Non-World Harmonise, but I don't like it nearly as much.

And finally my Number One song of the week is...  The Wolf That Fell in Love With Little Red Riding Hood. By Hitoshizuka-p ft. Kagamine Rin and Len. I'm not a RinxLen girl, but this is up at the top of the sadness chart, surrounded by mothy songs. I teared a little at the end.

And so, I must leave you now! Bye bye!

My return from the land of the frogs

I've spent practically a month in France, during which time I've been bitten 40 times by mosquitoes, stung by a wasp, fell down the stairs and woke up to find a scorpion in the kitchen... but apart from that it was amazing and it was so hot, makes a nice change from clouds and rain!

So now comes the great challenge: it's time to learn how to drive. I hit 17 and now I'm applying for a provisional licence, which costs £50, most my birthday money... Oh joy of joys! Time to get a job. Not gonna keep moaning though, considering I was given a kindle from my parents and crammed it full of books.

During my time away I've missed the Olympics and also the release of the new Kingdom Hearts game (which I wouldn't have bought anyway since I don't own a 3DS, boo hoo!) However I drowned my sadness by playing both games for the DS and immersing myself in vocaloid. No DVD play so I couldn't watch any of the animes I took with me... but I had more than enough books to keep me going!

Come September I'm officially in my last year of school, then university. I'm going to work a lot harder next year than I have done this year, but the best thing about this year is:  I NEVER HAVE TO DO PHYSICS AGAIN FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE!!! I got my AS results through this morning in the post, I got a D in physics, but it's a pass and that's all I need.

So my mini anime review today will be Rozen Maiden. No, Sonny, I'm not Peach pits biggest fan either and I haven't read it, but I really did enjoy the anime. I absolutely adored the way it was animated and the abandoned doll world early on the anime gave me the creeps. It revolves around a boy named Jun who stopped going to school after an "embarrassing incident" and stays at home and buys stuf of the internet all day. One day he gets a message saying to place a piece of paper in his desk to order and he does so. Shortly afterwards a doll arrives, after winding the doll up it comes to life and tells him her name is Shinku. In total we find out there are seven official Rozen Maiden dolls, each given a rosa mystica and they must fight each other over these rosa mysticas in order to be able to meet their maker ( as in, the person who made them, not God). I decided to watch it because I like anime and manga with dolls in them (on the other hand I find some dolls a bit creepy in real life >_<).

I thought I'd post this song (Yoshiwara lament by asa with Teto singing) I found it on niconicodouga abd had to immediately put it on my iPod, (it was downloading as I was leaving to go to France, I pretended I forgot something!) it's truly amazing!

And, while I'm here... Len is just adorable.

See you soon!

Does the weather not know its July?

So hi! *pinch, punch, first day of the month*
Unfortunately It's been the second wettest June on record. Bleh! Here's hoping to a sunny July! So far though, it's been grey.

I'm avoiding the top floor of my house as my sister had a sleepover and it's terrible up there, loads of crisps and such covering the floor. So I'm on my phone, you physically cannot get to the computer at the moment... (hello Blogger app) >_<

On tuesday I'm off to London. Yay! School trip to see les miserables. I'm not the biggest fan of the play but it's nice to go with everybody! There goes all the money I own in the world on train fares.

I've spent most of my weekend watching Rozen Maiden. I really love this anime! That's mostly because I love things with dolls in them! I haven't quite finished it yet so I might do a review at a later date. I recommend it though, if you've got the time!

Just stuffed myself with roast dinner an- HOLY HELL! Look what just appeared on my wall! I added a beautiful picture of Mr spider thing currently residing on my wall, he's only got 5 legs... that's not right. He's outside now.

My sister's going on a trip to France with the school tomorrow, she's getting to at 3 in the morning, better not wake me up! XD I like my sleep. A lot.

Finally, I went to Surrey university open day on Friday. It's really pretty, there's a lake and everything there! The French course looks really good. Only one year left of school and then I'm off! I've got to apply for loans and all sorts of other boring stuff such as that. What sold it for me were two beautiful words: Free. WiFi.

On that note, I bid you farewell!  ^_^
It's taken me three attempts to write this...<(^_^;) I keep getting distra- HEY, THE SUN'S OUT!

No more exams!

Sorry for not writing for ages and ages, I've been revising all the time.
Had my last exam this morning and so I've come home early! (Yay!) A2 French was a pig, I was told by a yr 13 just as we were walking into the exam hall that we needed a bibliography... I was not informed of this fact, luckily they told me the names of the books they used, otherwise I'd have been well and truly screwed. I did the history question about Vichy France, I think I did OK. I finished with 45 minutes to spare and sat staring at the walls, two and a half hours of sitting in le hall with no windows, I like natural light >_<.

Anyhoo, the sun has finally appeared. Don't know if any of you know what's been going on over here: floods and a lot of them! Luckily my road was ok, we're in an area prone to flooding (apparently living 100m from the sea means your house is gonna get flooded at some point!) so we've got loads more defences in place. My friends weren't all so lucky, barely two miles away it was waist deep in rain water, all the roads to my school were closed... so I had to get the train all week... in the rain! >_< My younger sister showed me a picture of her friends family canoeing in the garden! One of my best friend's school was shut, lucky bugger! I had loads of friends putting pictures up on facebook, one was of a friend of mine going "Look my house is on BBC1" Followed with a picture of her next to the TV. Last month the government declared we were in a "drought" so you know, we had a months worth of rain in a day. At least the hosepipe ban has been lifted! XD

Well, I think today I'll add a few of hachi's songs to this post! Hachi got me through revision this year, so I think I'll post my top 3 favourite hachi songs!

Number 3: Alice and the Sheep's wonderland! I really like how quirky it is ( let's face it most of his songs are!)
Number 2: Lynne. I love this song is and it is the exact length of my daily train journey!
Number 1: World's End Umbrella. There are no words to describe just how much I love this song! I love you hachi!

Oh and as an added bonus, I recently discovered hachi sang, I must have listened to "vivi" about 20 times yesterday on repeat! So I guess I should add it too! Speaking of which... *plays song*

Hopefully I'll be making posts more often!

Hope you're all doing ok!
